Si sente parlare sempre più spesso della galleria d’arte e record store ateniese Underflow, non soltanto spazio espositivo ma anche una nuova Mecca per la musica sperimentale dal vivo, unica nel suo genere sul territorio greco. È qui che nel maggio 2019 il sassofonista d’avanguardia svedese Mats Gustafsson ha dato a battesimo il trio con David Grubbs e Rob Mazurek, chiamandolo con lo stesso nome della venue ospitante.
Da due anni Underflow è anche un’etichetta discografica indipendente, e oggi il legame con Gustafsson si consolida in una produzione – la decima del catalogo – che unisce idealmente pittura e improvvisazione acustico-elettronica: Worn. Kissed.
